The main terrace at the front of the house is east facing and lovely for al-fresco breakfasts and evening meals. There is a large dining table made of cast iron and solid stone top positioned under a fig and a plane tree. The south terrace, located inside the walled garden, has a further well-sheltered table which makes for a cosy eating spot under the vine-covered pergola. There is a further terrace on the west side of the house, with a door leading into the main sitting room. This terrace is perfect for sundowners, watching the sun set behind the Besillon mountain and the St Joseph monastery. The boules pitch is also located here.
The 13 x 6 metre swimming pool (with 2 shallow ends and a deep middle, perfect for water-polo) is situated a short distance from the house in a lush garden surrounded by lawn. There is a large pool-house with comfortable shady lounging / seating area which, in the summer, can be opened up completely to link with the pool terrace or closed in the winter and used as an extra sitting area.
The sauna and its chill-out ante-room can accommodate up to 8 people.
The pool-house also has a loo and an outdoor 'jungle shower' nestled amongst the bamboo. The swimming pool can be heated on request and has an automatic cover to ensure full safety for small children.
At the back of the pool area is located a summer kitchen which is equipped with a built-in BBQ, Pizza oven, sink and fully fitted kitchen area. There is also a shaded seating / eating area for up to 16 people.
